A Klamath Falls Wedding Venue in Southern Oregon's Cascade Mountains

Your Wedding Weekend Starts Here

Southern Oregon's most complete wedding destination — where the ceremony is just the beginning, and your guests never want to leave.
Running Y Resort is a full-service wedding venue in Klamath Falls, Oregon, with five indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces for 22 to 250 guests, on-site lodging, in-house catering, a spa, and an Arnold Palmer Signature golf course, all on 3,600 acres in Southern Oregon's high desert, near Crater Lake.
That combination means your entire wedding weekend can happen in one place. The ceremony and reception you've been planning, yes, but also the welcome dinner, the morning-after brunch, the spa morning for the bridal party, and a round of golf for anyone who needs to burn off the excitement. Three days. One property. Everything taken care of.

The pine trees catch the last light of evening. Your guests are already here, settled in, relaxed, with nothing left to manage. Some are at the bar. Some are still on the dance floor. A few are out on the terrace, talking quietly under the stars. Nobody had to drive anywhere. Nobody checked a map.

The Wedding Weekend

More Than a Venue. A Whole Weekend.

One of the things couples tell us most often: they didn't expect their guests to have that good of a time. That's what happens when everyone is staying together — and there's genuinely nowhere else they'd rather be.
Friday

Welcome & Settle In

Guests arrive and check into the Lodge or one of the private vacation homes spread across the property. Gather for a welcome dinner or casual drinks — the Ruddy Duck, a private reception space, or the terrace if the evening calls for it. Let everyone find their rhythm before the big day.
Saturday

Your Day

Ceremony. Cocktail hour. Reception. Dancing the night away. The bridal suite is ready when you need it, your event coordinator has the timeline, and 3,600 acres of Southern Oregon provides the backdrop.
Sunday

Slow Down Together

Brunch at the Ruddy Duck. A round of golf for those who brought clubs. Spa time for anyone who needs a quiet morning after a big night. No hard checkout energy — just a warm, easy landing at the end of the best weekend of your life.

Find Your Space

From an open-air pavilion overlooking the golf course to Klamath Falls' largest ballroom, Running Y has a space for every vision — and a team to help you find the right fit.

White Oak Outdoor Pavilion & Lawn

Up to 250 guests
Outdoor
Our most-requested outdoor space. The White Oak Pavilion opens to the sky between the Lodge and Sports Center, with sweeping views of the Arnold Palmer course stretching out behind it. A natural backdrop that earns its own applause — and doesn't need much decorating.
weather permitting

Woodlands Ballroom

Up to 250 guests
Indoor
Klamath Falls' largest ballroom, and Running Y's most flexible wedding space. Natural light, direct patio access, and a layout that divides into sections — so it scales beautifully whether you're hosting 150 or 250. This is where big celebrations find their room.
Year-round

Juniper Hall

Up to 200 guests
Indoor
Running Y's newest event space — airy, contemporary, and wrapped in windows on all sides. Juniper Hall is a blank canvas with built-in A/V that supports any creative vision. If you know exactly what you want, this room can hold it.
Year-Round

Spruce Ridge Room

Varies by layout
Indoor
With sweeping views of the Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course and the Cascade Mountains, Spruce Ridge is one of the most quietly impressive spaces on the property. Located on the third floor of the Lodge, it offers both comfort and privacy — and the flexibility to be used as one generous space or divided into two separate rooms. Ideal for rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, welcome receptions, and intimate celebrations.
Year-round · Divisible into two rooms

Conservatory, Patio & Lawn

Up to 22 guests
Indoor/Outdoor
Some of the most beautiful weddings are the small ones. The Conservatory and its patio and lawn is Running Y's most intimate setting — a quiet, light-filled space where every guest is close enough to feel every moment. Perfect for elopements, vow renewals, and small ceremonies that call for something personal.

Weddings FAQ

Questions We Hear Most

Running Y’s spaces range from intimate to grand — the Conservatory seats as few as 22 guests, while the Woodlands Ballroom can accommodate up to 250. Most couples find their fit somewhere in between. Our team will help match the right space to your guest count and vision.

Running Y has five primary wedding spaces: the White Oak Outdoor Pavilion & Lawn (up to 250 guests; under The Pavilion: 60 ), the Woodlands Ballroom (up to 250 guests), Juniper Hall (up to 125 guests), Spruce Ridge (flexible layout, divisible into two rooms), and the Conservatory with Patio & Lawn (intimate ceremonies up to 22 guests). A full overview is available in our Wedding Planning Guide. We also offer the heli pad – guests have option to rent a tent – or host it without

Yes — and most couples do. Many also add a rehearsal dinner or welcome reception the evening before and a morning-after brunch. Your entire wedding weekend can take place on property without anyone having to get in a car.

Yes, and it’s one of the things that sets Running Y apart. Guests can stay in the Lodge or book one of the private vacation homes on the property — ideal for families, wedding parties, or groups who want their own space. Discounted room block rates are available, and complimentary overnight accommodations are included for the couple on their wedding night when 25 room nights are booked at the wedding rate.

Yes. Running Y has a full in-house catering team. Dinner packages range from $38–$44 per person depending on menu selections, plus a 25% service charge. Outside food and beverage is not permitted, with the exception of wedding cakes and cupcakes.

Every Running Y wedding includes ceremony space, water station for ceremony guests, setup and breakdown, ceremony chairs, round tables, linens, banquet chairs, china, flatware, glassware, and complimentary self-parking. Couples also receive complimentary overnight accommodations on their wedding night (with 25 room nights booked at the wedding rate), and a 50% anniversary suite discount for a one-night stay one year later.

Welcome receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and post-wedding brunches can all be arranged in a variety of settings throughout the Lodge and resort. Ask your coordinator about full-weekend planning options when you inquire.

Setup may begin four hours prior to your event unless a different arrangement has been made in advance with your event coordinator.

The Woodlands Ballroom and Juniper Hall are licensed for events until 10:00pm. All outdoor and Lodge functions must conclude by 10:00pm. The standard event rental covers a six-hour window; extensions to seven or eight hours are available for an additional fee.

Running Y has private bridal suites and vacation homes available for getting ready. We strongly recommend booking the suite the night before your wedding — this gives the bridal party the full day without the pressure of a 4:00pm check-in.

Yes, live bands are welcome at Running Y. Your event coordinator can help with logistics and space considerations. We also maintain a list of trusted local DJs if you’re still deciding on entertainment.

Yes. Indoor spaces are available in every season. Outdoor spaces are available weather permitting. Spring and winter weddings often benefit from greater date flexibility and lower venue rates — and Southern Oregon is genuinely beautiful in the off-season.

We recommend inquiring at least 12 months before your desired wedding date, particularly for peak season (APRIL through October). Popular dates can book earlier, so reaching out sooner is always a good idea. Contact our team and we’ll let you know what’s available.

The nearest commercial airport is Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (MFR), approximately one hour away via a scenic drive through the Cascade mountains. Running Y’s summer climate typically runs 10–20 degrees cooler than Medford, making it a comfortable setting for outdoor ceremonies.

For guests driving in, Running Y is well within reach of several major West Coast cities:

  • Bend, OR — approximately 2.5 hours
  • Portland, OR — approximately 4.5 hours
  • Redding, CA — approximately 2.5 hours (a convenient gateway for
  • Northern California guests)

The drive in from any direction is scenic — think open highway, pine forests, and the kind of landscape that tells your guests they’re somewhere worth the trip.

Yes — complimentary self-parking is included for all wedding guests.

Yes. Running Y works with a trusted group of local photographers, videographers, DJs, florists, officiants, hair and makeup artists, bakers, and rental companies. Your coordinator will share the full list when you begin planning, and it’s also available in the Wedding Planning Guide.

No – this is something that really sets us apart from other venues, there is no minimum spend requirement!

Absolutely — we encourage it. Contact our team to arrange a visit and we’ll show you the spaces, walk through the property, and help you start picturing your weekend here.
