A Klamath Falls Wedding Venue in Southern Oregon's Cascade Mountains
Your Wedding Weekend Starts Here
The pine trees catch the last light of evening. Your guests are already here, settled in, relaxed, with nothing left to manage. Some are at the bar. Some are still on the dance floor. A few are out on the terrace, talking quietly under the stars. Nobody had to drive anywhere. Nobody checked a map.

Questions We Hear Most
How many guests can Running Y accommodate for a wedding?
Running Y’s spaces range from intimate to grand — the Conservatory seats as few as 22 guests, while the Woodlands Ballroom can accommodate up to 250. Most couples find their fit somewhere in between. Our team will help match the right space to your guest count and vision.
What ceremony and reception spaces are available?
Running Y has five primary wedding spaces: the White Oak Outdoor Pavilion & Lawn (up to 250 guests; under The Pavilion: 60 ), the Woodlands Ballroom (up to 250 guests), Juniper Hall (up to 125 guests), Spruce Ridge (flexible layout, divisible into two rooms), and the Conservatory with Patio & Lawn (intimate ceremonies up to 22 guests). A full overview is available in our Wedding Planning Guide. We also offer the heli pad – guests have option to rent a tent – or host it without
Can we hold both the ceremony and reception at Running Y?
Yes — and most couples do. Many also add a rehearsal dinner or welcome reception the evening before and a morning-after brunch. Your entire wedding weekend can take place on property without anyone having to get in a car.
Is there on-site lodging for our guests?
Yes, and it’s one of the things that sets Running Y apart. Guests can stay in the Lodge or book one of the private vacation homes on the property — ideal for families, wedding parties, or groups who want their own space. Discounted room block rates are available, and complimentary overnight accommodations are included for the couple on their wedding night when 25 room nights are booked at the wedding rate.
Is catering provided on-site?
Yes. Running Y has a full in-house catering team. Dinner packages range from $38–$44 per person depending on menu selections, plus a 25% service charge. Outside food and beverage is not permitted, with the exception of wedding cakes and cupcakes.
What's included in the standard wedding experience?
Every Running Y wedding includes ceremony space, water station for ceremony guests, setup and breakdown, ceremony chairs, round tables, linens, banquet chairs, china, flatware, glassware, and complimentary self-parking. Couples also receive complimentary overnight accommodations on their wedding night (with 25 room nights booked at the wedding rate), and a 50% anniversary suite discount for a one-night stay one year later.
What additional events can we host at Running Y?
Welcome receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and post-wedding brunches can all be arranged in a variety of settings throughout the Lodge and resort. Ask your coordinator about full-weekend planning options when you inquire.
What time can vendors and the wedding party access the venue for setup?
Setup may begin four hours prior to your event unless a different arrangement has been made in advance with your event coordinator.
Is there a curfew?
The Woodlands Ballroom and Juniper Hall are licensed for events until 10:00pm. All outdoor and Lodge functions must conclude by 10:00pm. The standard event rental covers a six-hour window; extensions to seven or eight hours are available for an additional fee.
Where can the bridal party get ready?
Running Y has private bridal suites and vacation homes available for getting ready. We strongly recommend booking the suite the night before your wedding — this gives the bridal party the full day without the pressure of a 4:00pm check-in.
Do you allow live bands?
Yes, live bands are welcome at Running Y. Your event coordinator can help with logistics and space considerations. We also maintain a list of trusted local DJs if you’re still deciding on entertainment.
Is Running Y available for weddings year-round?
Yes. Indoor spaces are available in every season. Outdoor spaces are available weather permitting. Spring and winter weddings often benefit from greater date flexibility and lower venue rates — and Southern Oregon is genuinely beautiful in the off-season.
How far in advance should we book our date?
We recommend inquiring at least 12 months before your desired wedding date, particularly for peak season (APRIL through October). Popular dates can book earlier, so reaching out sooner is always a good idea. Contact our team and we’ll let you know what’s available.
The nearest commercial airport is Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (MFR), approximately one hour away via a scenic drive through the Cascade mountains. Running Y’s summer climate typically runs 10–20 degrees cooler than Medford, making it a comfortable setting for outdoor ceremonies.
For guests driving in, Running Y is well within reach of several major West Coast cities:
- Bend, OR — approximately 2.5 hours
- Portland, OR — approximately 4.5 hours
- Redding, CA — approximately 2.5 hours (a convenient gateway for
- Northern California guests)
The drive in from any direction is scenic — think open highway, pine forests, and the kind of landscape that tells your guests they’re somewhere worth the trip.
Is there parking for wedding guests?
Yes — complimentary self-parking is included for all wedding guests.
Do you have a preferred vendor list?
Yes. Running Y works with a trusted group of local photographers, videographers, DJs, florists, officiants, hair and makeup artists, bakers, and rental companies. Your coordinator will share the full list when you begin planning, and it’s also available in the Wedding Planning Guide.
Is there a food and beverage minimum?
No – this is something that really sets us apart from other venues, there is no minimum spend requirement!
Can we schedule a site tour?
Absolutely — we encourage it. Contact our team to arrange a visit and we’ll show you the spaces, walk through the property, and help you start picturing your weekend here.
